I swear my future boyfriend and/or husband would have to be a bit crazy to be a part of my family. We have a sense of humor that is just...unexplainable and just as ridiculous. I appreciate the fact that now my mom says "That's what she said" jokes (as displayed above). There really should be a reality show on us.
First of all, everyone feels that way about their family. Secondly, I'm envious of that kind of relationship because my family is really stuffy and not as much fun. So just enjoy it and don't worry about what others think. Besides, a future significant other that is a bit crazy will be a lot more fun and interesting than one who isn't. (I learned to embrace my own craziness years ago by having that attitude, and I'm a blast because of it.)
